Fundraising Campaign    Intermediate  Graphic Design

Brief: Working in pairs, use the persuasive powers of design to build a fundraising campaign for a non-profit of your choice.

My Approach:  When my roommate and I were randomly paired up for this project, we immediately chose our women’s campus ministry, Delight, as our non-profit. Delight is a national non-profit with hundreds of chapters on college campuses across the US. We were already familiar with the donation and fundraising process for our chapter from the perspective of donors and members, and the problems associated with it. We created a list of pain points and their corresponding opportunities, then a How Might We question which framed our entire campaign: “How might we design a campaign that targets UTK students in a way that urges them to donate and makes them feel comfortable doing so?“

The answer to our question was Table UTK, a tabling campaign that targeted students at UTK with incentivized donating. Collectively, the collateral that we created were the items to sell(buttons and stickers), a banner and infographic for the table, instagram posts advertising fundraisers, a new logo specific to the UTK chapter, and thank you cards for our larger donors. My partner and I split the design work down the middle then came together to photograph our tabling setup and create the campaign proposal. The collateral I designed solo were the instagram posts and thank you cards.
